for one reason or another thru the years i have sold guns that i wanted to keep...what one gun do you regret the most ever selling?
mine was a colt 1911 built by bob day for the air force shooting team..finish wise it looked a little rough but it was the most accurate and "comfortable" 1911 i ever shot

I sold it for almost 3 times what I paid for it new so I could buy another gun and I have missed it ever since.
I keep looking for another one but the ones you do find are trashed - IMO.
I'll keep looking and hoping that Marlin will start making it again.

The only one I really regret was my Winchester 101 12ga O/U. I had a pair, a 20 ga (still have) and a 12 ga. I hadn't shoot it in over 20 years and it so I thought I'd sell it to fund another gun I wanted. I did that, but now when I look at the used gun racks, I see much lessor quality guns selling for about what I got for it. I'd buy it back for the same price in a heart beat.

Mine was a Marlin 336 30-30 I traded for a bow. I got the shaft cause I hate that damn bow. I killed my first deer with that rifle and I have never quit kicking myself for getting rid of it. After I buy a new pistol another 336 is on the list.

H&K P9S 9mm. Absolutely awesome gun. Innovative cocker/decocking lever, just about the best factory trigger in the world, and accurate as heck. Should have never sold it.

CETME. I needed cash quick, and figured I would eventually get another, or step up. Then the prices started going up and I never got around to buying one. Now the prices have REALLY gone up and it doesn't look like I'll be getting one any time soon.

I traded in a Remington 600 in .244 Rem, on a 700 BDL. I didn't like the gun because it wouldn't shoot very well but the books don't even show that model to have been chambered in 244. Remington renamed it to 6mm and changed the twist to shoot heavier bullets. Had I known then what I know now, I would have kept it and made a bundle from selling it now.

My dad just traded a .244 Rem 600 for a model 700 in .223 and to the op I will always miss my first shotgun a Remington 870 wingmaster but traded it for my 101 so I can't complain.

Two guns that I regret selling was 1: Colt 1911 Series 70, and 2: Colt 1911 Series 80. Wish I still had them. Cant touch them for the price that I bought them for back in the 80's.

A Bulgy AK (SLR-95) that I bought cheap and sold for market value.
A Remington Rolling Block .45-70 with an 18" full octagon barrel.
A Soviet SKS I bought new, importer's serial number is 26662 if anybody has it.
Probably others I sold when I really needed money.

2 1/2" Smith 657 round butt. Useless as a back up/hide out but uber fun to shoot. Traded it with a shotty to get an HK-91. At least I was not dumb enough to sell it.

Glock 21. First gun I owned, regret selling it, was used a lot at the range, had a few thousand rounds fired through it, never had any issues other than a Failure to feed once in a while mainly due to lack of cleaning (too much time shooting).

I sold a maverick 88 shotgun yesterday to a friend for one of my g/f's friends because she needs money. Now the girl wants the gun back so I had to call my friend and ask for it back because she is worried about the name being in her husbands name.

Tried to explain that paperwork stays in the gun store. No matter how hard I tried she didn't understand. So. Needless to say I called my friend today for the gun. Embarassed and regret trying to help some people.
