And if it's been listed and re-listed many times without selling it probably means the asking price is too high. Just a thought.There exist gun shops with reputable appraisers. Where is your friend located? You can also reference Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values, but you'd have to buy/borrow the book. Alternatively, you can search online auction sites like Gunbroker to get an idea (if you're lucky enough to find one being offered).
