Damn glad I bought it before posting. Someone on the facebook message said there was 110 of those uppers in stock. Not sure how you can tell how much stock they have of something but damn. Bought basically a complete ar minus a rear sight for 490 shipped is hard to beat. Keep an eye on PSAs facebook page and their mailing list. Theyre going to have some damn good deals.

To see how much inventory a site has, you can generally just type in a very high number like 100,000 and try to add it to your cart. It will either subtract the order down to what is on hand or tell you that the quantity is not available. In that case sometimes you just need to drill down the amount till you find the amount it will allow. Most sites will allow you to do this.

As a side note, during the panic, I used this technique quite a bit to check inventory on vendors I wasn't very familiar with. At the time many sites were saying "in stock" and didn't have a limit, but they were really just taking back orders. So I would type a silly number like a million and see what it allowed me to order. If they allowed me to add that much I would usually walk away and find a site that gave me a definite amount.

I still do it when I see a pretty good deal but I just don't have the money right then. If they have a pretty good amount in stock, I may wait and check on it from day to day.

My dad ordered the shield so atleast I'll get to shoot it. Maybe I can talk him into selling it to me later when the toy fund is built back up lol.

You know I'm just messin with you bud. You ever get your ar feeding right?

    I know brother.. ;)

And No!! But honestly, I've spent about 10 minutes on the thing since we saw each other last, 5 of which were actual shooting. It was at Hickville and there was way too many other things going on.

I have just been speculating and replacing parts, but at some point I am going to have to go to the range for a few hours with different equipment configurations and nail it down to exactly what the issue is.

...and that price included the BCG, too? Dang, I'm sorry I missed that deal.

Keep checking. It'll be back. I didn't see it this morning (0830) but sometimes they update during the mid morning as well as a late afternoon one.
Either way, with Black Friday coming, they are going to have a few good deals and I think this was a teaser.
