Information missing Update

Talked to the DPS since the detailed letter has not yet arrived - the info that is missing is that I did not list a second home address in my history, just the address where I have been living in Texas since I moved here in 1997....the same with my employer - same for the past 35 years, but that needs to be stated on the back.....what a crock! In my class we were told you did not need to go back further than 10 tears, well apparently that has changed.

I almost made the same mistake. Since your current employer is asked for on the front page, I did not list it in the history section later in the application.
Lucky for me, I had my instructor look at the app before I mailed it. He said to add the current employer as from xx/xx/xxxx to current, along with the past jobs (only 2 in 28 years) Glad I had him look at it !!


ETA: A guy at work got the same "missing info" letter as you. He failed to put in his height. Brainfart. But you would think DPS could have just gotten that from his drivers license and filled it in for him.

My wife just got the same letter, and mailed it back corrected the next day

Tx, did you send them back certified? All I can do is tell you my experience with the same thing. I did the same thing and it put me back about 2 months. I detailed the whole process in the other thread.

checked this morning and I'm back to 'processing application'

my status never changed online, but got the letter in the mail. no I didn't send certified.... hope this doesn't fork me up

I sent mine first class last Friday, status changed back to Processing Application on Wednesday
