[h=2]Muslims Turn Kosovo Orthodox Shrine into Public Toilet[/h]Posted by Jim Hoft on Friday, December 27, 2013, 1:39 AM

Muslims urinate on Kosovo Shrine to John the Baptist (InSerbia)
Muslims in Samodreza have turned the Orthodox Church dedicated to
St. John the Baptist into a public toilet and dump.

    InSerbia reported, via Jihad Watch:
Orthodox church dedicated to the Beheading of St. John the Baptist in the village of Samodreza near Vucitrn, was desecrated and turned into a garbage dump. The altar of this Serbian shrine, built on the place where Prince Lazar received communion with the army before the Battle of Kosovo, Albanian children turned into a public toilet, writes “Kurir”.

All attempts to stop the desecration of th
e Orthodox church were unsuccessful because the Albanian population is against its renewal. The church was burned, vandalized and desecrated for the first time in 1999 after international forces arrived in Kosovo, writes the daily.

The roof of the church was destroyed, windows and the metal door on it broken, and over the apse a large hole was breached. The interior of the church is turned into a public garbage dump and a toilet in which people and the cattle relieve, writes “Kurir”. The wall around the church is destroyed. This Orthodox church is literally cluttered with garbage, according to the daily.

“The holy temple was destroyed back in 1999, and in recent years Albanian children keep throwing garbage in it. We tried several times to stop the further desecration through the international community and proposed placement of brass doors and windows, but the Albanian community opposes renewal,” said Bishop of Raska and Prizren Teodosije for “Telegraf”.

The desecrated walls inside the Church of St John the Baptist, in Samodreza near Vucitrn, is known in history as “the white church of Samodreza” in which saint Prince Lazar gave the Holy Communion to the Serbian knights on the eve of the Battle of Kosovo (1389). (Rastco.rs)

I can't say a thing about this that wouldn't get me banned permanently from this site. And it's definitely NOT on the nice side.

The religion of peace & love talks a good fight but in the end, they are just thugs. They refer to me as an infidel but I would NEVER disrespect or desecrate their religious symbols like that.

To bomb Holy ground because there are combatants, that's one thing.
But to deliberately desecrate Holy ground, and I don't subscribe to any, is WAY beyond my line, the one I will not cross. Pathetic.

son-n-law gave me a super Christmas present one thousand events that shaped history.. Nat Geo book.. two things of interest on Islam, the second was the 'why' of sunni shia split.. had to do with who 'really' succeeded Mohammed.. blood line (shia) or power of imman's (sunni).. that was all rational, but at the begening when Mohammed was first discussed., it pointed out the reason for the major land 'grab'.. real simple military might is rule one. This is proving to be a liberal read, and even with that slant the book makes it clear that jihad is the hard wired state..

I am also a kafir .... infidel, non-believer. Islam does not accept criticism of their "religion" and devout Muslims are barred from questioning the Qur'an in any way, shape or form by the Qur'an and the imams, mullahs, ayatollahs and sheikas who preach to and teach the illiterate Muslims (those that can't read or write).

Concerning "the religion of peace" a.k.a. Islam, in the twentieth century, a few brave former Muslim authors, like Salman Rushdie, author of the "Satanic Verses," and secularist Ibn Warraq, not his real name, author of "Why I'm Not a Muslim," wrote critical books and have been vilified. Non-Muslim authors, Craig Winn, author of "Prophet of Doom," and Serge Trifkovic, author of " Sword of the Prophet," for example have written scholarly books critical of Islam. Robert Spencer's book, "The Truth about Muhammad," provides a good summary of Muhammad's life. These authors daring works now enable us to gain insight into the man, Muhammad, and to better understand the insidious ideology of Islam.

When the European Union would not act to stop the violence in the Former Yugoslavia (Muslim vs. Christians, & Christians vs. each other) the USA used its clout to force NATO to act (outside their charter).

Eventually, the Croats (mostly Catholic) formed their own Republic and ceased hostilities, but the Muslims in Bosnia continued to battle the Orthodox Christian Serbs. Can't say we helped the righteous side.

Although NATO (mostly U.S. Troops) kept the peace through force of arms, the Muslims set up rat lines to run all manner of drugs, explosives, stolen cars, pilfered gasoline, and much more contraband to fuel their Islamic Criminal Enterprise. They were aided and abetted by Iran.

While we were "officially" there to keep the warring parties apart, our Italian contingent did spend a great deal of time on protecting Catholic entities. The Bishop of the Sarajevo Catholic Cathedral welcomed us with open arms to Midnight Mass -- He was happy to see us armed.

It seems that lately when the U.S./NATO gets involved in these sorts of conflicts, Christians are usually the ones to suffer the most. Look at Africa, Iraq, Syria, etc. Makes you think.

This is also very interesting, coming from an ex moo-slime.
He briefly mentions all the inconsistencies in the Kor-Ham and how they can
claim that book is consistent but only by focusing on one section of it at a time.

Bah, if you really want a quick and easy way to disprove the whole quran is perfect and unaltered line from a muslim simply point them to the Uthman and the Sana. Two oldest in existence, they don't match each other and neither match the modern version.

Even in there own hadiths (i guess this only counts if you are arguing with a sunni, mostly arabs FWIW) it is well established the quran was not meant to be exact words as much as it was a message.

Don't ever say I don't help fan flames on both sides in these debates

With regards to the OP, I sure hope there is a special place in hell for those guys

Your mentioning Uthman brought this to mind. Scholars tell us Muhammad was uneducated, which may be true, because no writings of Allah's revelations have ever been attributed to him. His followers either wrote down what he recited or professional "rememberers" repeated his recitations for others to hear and record. Those who wrote down the revelations did so on any available materials -- pieces of papyrus, animal hides, leaves, stones, even on their bodies. Twenty years after the Prophet's death in 632 CE, Uthman, the third caliph, which means successor to the Prophet, assembled all those with memories of Muhammad's recitations and collected all the written copies, called "fragments," of his revelations. From the collective memories and fragments, Uthman's scribes recorded the stories in documents called surahs, written down in the order the fragment or remembered event was presented to the scribe. The scribes produced one hundred fourteen surahs, containing a total of 6,346 verses. When the transcriptions were complete, Uthman had all the fragments burned. Then the surahs were combined into one large book. The one hundred fourteen surahs were recorded in no particular order. Each surah had a different length, depending upon the number of verses. Uthman had a dilemma. How should they be combined? His solution was to sort them by length and then arrange them in a book in descending order, the longest first and the shortest last. Once compiled, the surahs became chapters and the book became the Qur'an. A book with a text so disorganized it appears the surahs were gathered together like a deck of cards after a game of Fifty-Two Pick-up. Uthman's compilation remains the only recognized version of a book revered by over a billion and a half people, many of whom have no idea as to the true nature of the book, nor the true history of the Prophet.

Also several surahs were not included and among muhammeds closest followers after his death as to what to include not just what versions. The first surah was especially contested as it was considered a prayer to god not directions from him by several of the close followers. Not necessarily any different than biblical apocryphal books so its not a major issue until u get on a soapbox and claim perfection like many do.
