    At least it makes more sense than the last mayor and banning the big gulp. A crooked politician paying off a political debt or being for sale doesn't really surprise me.

    Never been there and I don't plan on going. I feel sorry for those poor suckers who live there under communist influence. I've never been so proud to be a Texan.

    I've never been there, either, but sometime before I leave this Earth I DO want to make a short trip there ... to go to Ellis Island and see the "brick" that my family put there to remember my grandparents. They came from central Europe in the early 1900s to the United States and they were part of the many thousands upon thousands who came through immigration AT Ellis Island.

    I'd like to see the Big Apple at least once in my life too but I've a conscious decision to never spend a penny of my hard-earned-in-Texas money in a Libturd state.
