    Alright Y'all,

Mark the 15th of February off on Calendars. After a Phone Call or Two and some well aimed advice from SouthPaw, We have ourselves an event. So bring your Wives, Girlfriends (Either/Or, Not Both), Buddies, Little Brothers, ETC. ALL SHOOTERS WELCOME

I just got off the phone with "A Place to Shoot" Manager Kyle. Who says he would love to have us (that is the Texas Gun Talk Members who wish to join) Saturday the 15th of Feb. and even went as far as to offer us the Security Range or the Cowboy Action Range so long as we can produce a Certified RSO or Equivalently Titled Person(Volunteers would be much appreciated).

We will Start with Breakfast at 8:00am at IHOP at SW Military and Roosevelt (3523 Roosevelt Ave. San Antonio, TX 78214) and at 9:30 we will move to the range. I am open to suggestions for a good restaurant near there that is more Mom and Pop for next time, for now IHOP will have to do, so we can be sure that there will be enough room. If anyone is still around by lunch time (12:30), we will head up the road to "B and B Smokehouse"

I have one thing to ask as it comes to the attendance of Minors. Please make sure they are familiar with range safety or that you, or another attendee can teach them. I don't think you will have a problem finding help here if you need it. I can teach and monitor one, but more than one can be tough. I really say this tongue in cheek, I doubt anyone here is going to cause issues.

Let me know who can come.:twin:

If you have questions, or need directions PM me.

(Probably want to keep this an 18 and up event, unless your teen is an experienced shooter)
Why the age limit and for the "experienced" only?
That doesn't seem like a positive way to promote our group (BTW: welcome) or shooting enthusiasts in general.

We'll let me rephrase. I am a huge fan of passing the torch... Or in my case the Glock (looks like that might be the case with you as well, thank you for your hospitality) to the next generation. However "A Place To Shoot" will most likely not invite us back if we have an unruly child with a fire arm on their range. Go ahead and define experienced teen as one who is well behaved and familiar with basic firearms safety. If you have a youngster you believe should come and be around the men (and women shooters), but it's their first time on the range, let's talk about it. I am glad to have anyone.

I edited the original post after I made this reply, thanks for you input sir.
