Depends on what my plans are for the trip, but usually just a rangebag with the following:

    1) firearm(s)
    2) min 300rds per caliber
    3) gun mat/towel to rest firearms on so not in direct contact with benches
    4) misc cleaning supplies
    5) misc extra mags
    6) eye and ear protection
    7) brass container (bag/box/whatever for empty casings)
    8) misc tools for possible mechanical issues
    9) targets
    10) staple gun/thumbtacks
    11) flashlight
    12) laser boresighter
    13) sand bags (usually not in the range bag itself)

I think that about covers it.

    DFW area.....Wylie.
For the range, whatever guns I plan to shoot, ammo & extra mags for them, hearing and eye protection.

For the ranch, the above plus, cleaning kit, oil, various tools, spare parts, and gear dependent on what I intend to do. If hunting, then I have the appropriate clothing. If hunting hog at night, add various flashlights, weapon mounted tactical lights & red lens covers.

at least two to four handguns.....usually a rifle or two as well depending on how long i'll be there. at least two hundred rounds per caliber. ear&eye protection. i usually get targets at the range. i pack everything in my bag and keep some wipes if they get really dirty to clean them quickly.

Does anyone here carry first aid gear?

Besides that, what I take depends on which range, the time of year, and what the purpose of the session is.

Always eyes and ears and. Of course the gun and ammo. I take a small screwdriver, cleaning rod, etc. If I will be drawing from a holster then I take a cover garment, the extra mags, mag case, etc. That is just minimum.

When taking a class I take, in addition to the above; extra ammo, a second gun, season appropriate items (bug spray, sunscreen, gloves, knit hat, etc) second holster full cleaning kit and tools, hat, stapler, staples, masking tape, camel pack, meal replacement bars, cell phone, wet wipes, towel,................

My truck must be a Range Bag :-) I have targets, eyes, ears, cleaning kit, masking tape, gun tools, marker, Freezer bags for brass and whatever else, couple of boxes of ammo for carry guns and first aid kit all under the backseat and behind the backseat. In my bag is whatever guns I plan to shoot with Ammo and mags.

Ok, I carry most of that stuff too. Not to hijack the thread but is a laser boresight worth the money? I keep seeing it in posts but don't know anyone who has one? Opinion...or do I need to start a new thread?
