My question is for disabled veterans currently receiving disability payments.

I know it is not the 1st of February yet, but my Credit Union is already showing my next payment. My problem, albeit a very minor one in the scheme of things as of right now, is that it is showing short by about two dollars from last months payment. Is there some new fee or something that has been added for direct deposit by the VA, banking system, or some other thing I cannot think of after being up since 2:30 this morning?

Do you owe any monies to the med. center? I get nasty letters from the VA quite often telling me to pay me pharmacy co-pay or they will pull the amount(s) owed from my disability check. May be what's going on with you.

You might also check the ebenefits website and see if you have anything pending with the VA and check your pay history as well.

I haven't pulled meds from the VA since 2005-06 after a car wreck, and haven't received a bill from them on anything.

i payed it cash on site.

After doing through the creating acct. process, the payment is showing the amount my bank is showing. This is the only time I have had a payment difference from one month to the next besides annual changes. I did not see anything indicating a reason, but not much time to check it tonight. If you can give an idea of where to look on there I will check it again tomorrow after work.

Below is a link, I hope, to the ebenefits website. Follow the directions and set up an access/account. You can also get there through the regular VA site, just can't recall how right at this moment. Just checked my C&P history, and it's all showing normal. Maybe your bank has a new "fee", as I left my last one because of just those.

If this link isn't it, PM me and I'll figure out how to get you there.

Check on "view my status, then scroll to "payment history". Most everything else, as usual with the gov., I've found through trial and error.

Minor venting. Pizzes me off no end they won't update my appeal status. Sorry, MINOR venting

I haven't received my disability deposit for February either, but my December 30th deposit was almost twenty dollars more than the one at the end of November. My retirement pay went up nearly $37 dollars as well.

Got registered and I did look up my payment history. I do show the new payment rate as correct for my 12/31/13, but my payment for 1/31/14 is showing a small variance that is approx. $2 less than what it should be.

As far as fees, I already called the bank and they said that there is no fee and that the amount pending is the same as what the VA shows my payment to be.

That's a mystery to me. When you brought that up I went and checked my payments, and it showed no variance from 31 Dec to 01 Feb. You might want to the to call the VA directly and see what's going on. Maybe it's just a minor SNAFU nobody caught. Kinda like when I was "dead" and didn't get paid for almost three months. Between personnel and dispersing, it was a bitch to prove I was alive. Finally got my Chief and the C.O. involved to take care of that "minor" problem.

    Good luck.
