Are you ashamed of your choice to carry a handgun? Do you back-peddle when someone asks you why you think you need a gun? Are your anti-gun friends and neighbors successful in making you feel guilty over your choice to take responsibility for the protection of yourself and your family?
Well… STOP IT! Jeff, with Shiloh Indoor Shooting Range, coined the phrase “Unapologetic Gun Owner,” and I believe it speaks volumes. We are law-abiding Americans who, unlike a large component of our population, have chosen to take responsibility for our own safety. We realize that, as much as we respect the fine people in law enforcement, they cannot be everywhere at all times. When it comes to our protection, we are ultimately the first line of defense.
Don’t be ashamed. Don’t make excuses. Your response to the anti-gunner who condescendingly asks why you think you need a gun should be an incredulous, “Why don’t you???”
You’ve probably heard the story about Mark Muller, of Max Motors in Missouri, who offered a new AK-47 with a purchase of a pickup truck. Chances are you heard the MSM’s take on what a nut he was or how irresponsible that promotion was thought to be. Click on the graphic below to hear Mark’s interview with a CNN reporter.
