I owned a Randall back in the mid 80's. Safety was all jacked up (bought it new). With the safety on, you could press the trigger, safety would drop and gun would fire. Traded it for a Colt Officer's Model.

Have never had a safety issue w/'em. Can see where that'd turn someone off, though!
