How many vacations and relaxing parties has this guy had after 7 months on the job? How does he compare to other presidents?

Strikes me as a non-serious. I know when I have a backlog of work, I stay til it's done. No weekends off, no nights off, just wake up and go to work til I need to get to bed.

In his defense he has a really, really stressful job. Being built-up that much, with the weight of the country on your shoulders, it's a hell of a job. However, on the other hand, he asked for it, and he wanted it.

I wonder how he stacks up, I know Bush Jr. took a number of vacations.

Especially to someone with no executive experience. I can picture him sucking his thumb, rocking in a corner, all while crying himself to sleep.

He was a senator, so he's at least used to Washington. I think the President really is an office that you can't prepare for... you either float or sink. With his health care bill floundering, we might just be seeing him crack a bit.

He could at least fill all the vacant positions he's got. I hear there's an economic crisis and tons of people are looking for jobs right now.

When I work with people who want lots of breaks, long lunches, blah blah, I usually cut my time with them short. They are the first to whine and criticize when we work late, make working weekends worse than they already are (not really to me since I don't have a life), and are usually unprepared.

Mr. Obama's handling of the health-care debate—making villains out of cable television and insurance companies, questioning the motives of those who disagree, imposing artificial deadlines—suggests a rigidity typically associated with a lack of executive experience and responsibility.
