I'm trying to figure out the most discreet way to carry in South Texas and when go to church (when i can't untuck my shirt)

normally, my G19 fits comfortably in a com-tac holster IWB, but I really need to have a long shirt untucked.

I got a kel tec 380, with an IWB that I use easily with a t-shirt.

I guess I could put that sucker in a pocket, but it is wierd carrying a gun in one pocket, and a wallet in another. I'm also a little iffy on the who idea of having a gun in my pocket with all the junk. . . .even with a holster.

What is your best, most discreet method of carry?

    Thanks

Well you are on the right track. It just takes getting used to. When I need a deep carry I use my LCP in a pocket holster on strong side front if pants are loose enough, if not back pocket. Either way, nothing else goes in that pocket. It feel weird to start, but many guys carry two wallets or a cell and a PDA, you'll get used to it or you'll find anouther way to hide it. I recently saw a holster you wear around your neck, but I don't think I would care for that.

Keep reading....go down to subsection (i)

    (i) Subsections (b)(4), (b)(5), (b)(6), and (c) do not apply if the actor was not given effective notice under Section 30.06.

Another option, depending on how people in your church dress, is a nice shirt that is intended to be untucked like a Hawaiian shirt or a Guayabera.

Now if I could find some that didn't need ironing???????????

I figured out that if I buy a "tall" shirt, I can cover just about anything. including my gut. LOL

Most discreet I use is Bodhi IWB.

I consider a pocket sized carry, just haven't moved to making any decisions.

Anyone use one of these? http://www.m1911.org/prodte10.htm by smartcarry

I use the Smartcarry. Full size 1911A1. I wear it at 11 o'clock with the end of the grip at about the zipper and very low. When I sit, the pistol lays on top of my left thigh.

Some people have a habit of putting it on too tightly. Back off of that about an inch and a half and wear it at 11 o'clock for a large pistol and it'll be very comfortable and invisible. I can wear it with dress pants, jeans, cotton shorts, cargo pants shorts, sweats, etc... No one knows you're carrying if you don't tell them. I was wearing some cotton shorts outside gardening with it for a couple of weeks and it was very comfortable after I realized that I was putting it on too tight and loosened it by an inch and a half.

Tight is okay for smaller pistols. Darker dress pants work best and for khaki pants, pleated is best.

Just make sure your pants allow for your hand to enter the front and draw easily. I bought a 1 1/2" gun belt for when I try an IWB tuckable holster and wore it with the Smartcarry. Made it very hard to get in there to draw. Now I wear my thin belt with the Smartcarry and the gun belt when I wear an OWB and extra mags on my left side.

Remember! Use the right tool for the job!

I would but. . . I'm getting married in January . . . . and she would prefer the tucked in look.

I liked the way the bad guys in the video waited for him to rip his shirt open & pull out his gun, all the while the bad guy already had his gun pointed at him.....

Have you tried a holster shirt? I have a better holster shirt that I use with my G23 and G27. It works well for carry to church or in business dress. Here is the link.

Kind of reminded me of superman . .

    : )

I do think that is just a plain undershirt with some pockets sewed into it. .. I think his margin for that $50 is kind of high. maybe I'll make one myself.

Actually use a underarmor type of shirt. Cotton will let the gun swing around to much.

Yes the Tshirt is a deep concealment holster. So the quick access is not there, or you could look like Zoolander getting your gun out of the smart carry.
