AK-47: you can use it to do pushups
AR-15: you can use it to do sit ups
Mosin: you can use it to do pull ups

i love mine, ive had two, a sporterized m44 that wasnt accurate one bit (sold), and my 91/30 thats accurate as hell but no moa machine, i shoot surplus ammo and spray windex through it and then patch it with paper towels and then motor oil...works like a charm for me

I took out my M-44 yesterday to my works range day. I have a bunch of guys that work with me that's never shot anything larger than a M-4. It was fun to watch, love the giant flame and the BOOM!

Can you really get one of these for around $200?

Or less. Check it over the same way you'd check over a 1903, Mauser, etc. Use a barrel erosion gauge, or use a 0.310" or 0.312" bullet. Keep in mind that the Russians didn't use 0.308" bullets.

The laminate stocked ones usually cost a bit more; I prefer the standard birch stocks.

You can have a really good one for $150 or less, and sink the rest into, oh, say, sights ;)

    Regards,

    Josh

I've got one can sitting here, and another on order stuck in verifying at Aim. I'm hoping this is a temporary delay in shipments, I'd like one or two more cans and I'll be set for likely as long as I'll own my Nugget.

Got in the 7.62x52r today. Disappointed in that one spam can in the crate came in open with rounds missing...calling the company tomorrow. Has anyone done business with wideners.com?

Wideners shipped you an OPENED can ?????

My can from AIM shows up tomorrow, so I've got two at least. Maybe one more if I can find it.

I've bought plenty of stuff from Wideners...never had an issue with deliveries. I would have been shocked to receive a crate with an opened spam can!!! Sound like they are taking care of you at least (and you'll end up with more rounds for the price you paid).

    Hello,

I'm betting on a warehouse mistake. Even if it was opened at customs, I'd think that someone would have noticed it pre-shipment (unless the two came together in a larger sealed crate -- I may have missed this part?)

Widener's is a reputable company and I'm sure they'll make it right.

    Regards,

    Josh

Yes, the opened can was one of two in the crate. I'm waiting for the replacement to come in any day now.
