Thunder Gun Range

Anyone shoot at Thunder Gun Range out at 1314 & 242? I havent shot there but they have a IDPA shoot every Wednesday night and some Saturdays. Ive been wanting to go try it out. Just wondering if anyone has any experiance with that range.

i've heard nothing but good things about the range. if its convenient for you, go check it out and let us know how the match goes. as a shooter, one should take all opportunities to shoot against other shooters. friendly competition is the best form of stress.

I plan to shoot the Tx St match they are supporting.

Been to the range to shoot the IDPA classifier and their Labor Day Regional match last year. Looked to be pretty nice for a public range and they had several private bays for the IDPA guys to practice in. I'll be shooting the Texas State match their club is putting on at the Impact Zone as well.

I went there Saturday and shot with the IDPA guys. Great group.
It was my first time shooting that type of format & they really made a noob feel welcome. I'm hooked!

They hold IDPA matches every 2nd Saturday of the month at 9am, new shooters get there at least 30 minutes early, and every Wednesday night at the Thunder Gun Range. Carbine matches on the 1st Saturday of the month.

They are hosting the IDPA Texas State Championship this Sunday, Sept. 6th at the Impact Zone range.
