It looks like this government-manufactured scare is nothing new:
Ignatius Piazza: Keep Your Change and Vaccines… I’ll Keep My Guns and Liberty

I’ve been watching the “change” over my lifetime that we have received from the government, and I believe it is so far left of what our Founding Fathers created for us that if they walked among us today we would already be at war over ANY ONE of the following transgressions:
Oh, and don’t forget the continuous assault on our Second Amendment rights through legislation aimed at banning the sale, ownership, possession, and carry of numerous types of firearms and accessories.
People seem to think our war with the King was about “taxation without representation” and that certainly was a part of it, but what caused the first shot to be fired in 1775 at the Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts was the British attempt to confiscate “muskets, powder and ball” from our forefathers.
Well now we are hearing that the government wants us all to be vaccinated to prevent a “Swine Flu” pandemic. There is Internet chatter about ALL Americans being “forced” to receive a vaccination.
No thanks. I have never had a flu shot, nor has any member of my family, and I’m not going to start now.
Everyone has a mental line in the sand that they will not allow anyone to cross, and that is just ONE of mine.
For those of you who were not around in 1976 or fail to remember history, here is a little déjà vu regarding the swine flu pandemic and the government’s propaganda campaign that lead to the vaccination of over 40 million people with damaging and deadly results for thousands who bought into the idea that the government knew what was best for us.
This is a 10 minute segment from a 60 Minutes episode that aired in 1979, just three years after the government vaccinated MILLIONS of Americans, and since was suppressed from further view.

See the similarities between 1976 and today?
The media and government stoking the flames of fear with the approaching Swine Flu Pandemic while they race to create and produce massive amounts of vaccine, which they will not have the time to test in long term clinical trials for effectiveness or damaging side effects.
I do not know about you, but I’m going to stick with what I know and tell the government to keep their vaccine. And if they think they are going to FORCE Americans to be vaccinated, I believe all those people who “Cling to Their Bibles and Guns” will have something strong to say about it. I know I will.
And do me a big favor. Send this blog to Glenn Beck and ask him to contact me. I heard he lost some big advertisers because he made some “politically incorrect” statements recently.
Tell Glenn I will be happy to advertise with him.

- Government bailouts and takeover of the private businesses sector.
- Massive entitlement programs and Welfare.
- Shameful disregard for our nation’s Christian values, English language and American history.
- Diluting our American culture and bankrupting our country through lax and illegal immigration policy.
- Complete failure to protect our borders.
- Creation of the biggest Ponzi scheme of modern time– The Federal Reserve and our gold-less banking system.
- Continuous erosion of our sovereignty through participation in the United Nations, NAFTA, various damaging treaties, and staggering national debt to foreign countries.
- The erosion of our First Amendment rights through laws that limit, ban, and criminalize “politically incorrect” thought and speech.
- Stealing our privacy, liberty and freedom under the guise of “protecting” us from terrorism.
