Assume for a moment that some deadly virus has killed 90% of the worlds population excluding yourself and immediate family. Everyone that's currently alive has some kind of genetic structure that has made them immune to the outbreak.

How do you react to the new world (a world with virtually no laws, limits or regulations nor anyone to enforce them)

Hopefully run across like minded people with daughters for my sons, LOL.

Other than that, keep my distance, keep a low profile, and be prepared to use deadly force at the drop of a hat.

Hit the natl. guard armory and add to my home defences.
Back in the 80's William W Johnstone wrote a series called
OUT OF THE ASHES with the same senario as you are describing.
Neat series but its one that each book must be read in order.
    Over 30 books.

Well, it would seem that there is a new Sheriff in town, you...

Seriously, I think you'd need to try to project and enforce the best qualities of the past civilization while trying to keep your butt alive.

set up shop in a big warehouse with a big fence and a private fuel pump, arm to the teeth, grab the necessities of life food, water, ammo, playboys, etc and keep an eye out survivors and mutated viral zombies.

The dhs guys (anonymously, of course) say they're preparing for an "action" sometime in October. Gotcher bugout bag?

    Always...

Not to hi-jack the thread, but the bugout bag comment got me thinking. When is enough to much? I was thinking about it while getting things together for Huricane season. So, the question. What's in your buggout bag?

WallyWorld might not be a bad place to move into. Especially if you happen to be near one that still sells rifles and shotguns.
