If you live near North Dallas check out Sporting Arms. It is run by a lady named Becky Harris out of her residence. She is wonderful to deal with.Welcome to SportingArms.com, your source for discount firearms, ammo, and accessories. Brands such as Browning, Kimber, Remington, Sigarms, Colt, Winchester and more. . I found her to be the lowest price on a new Sig in Dallas.

Nocando. I've had a few drinks and have the credit card handy. Need to wait till tomorrow when the head is clear and the wife won't get upset. How come the price list on other brands then? I've seen others advertise discount Kimber pricing, is she that much lower?

usually when sites say that and I call or email for the price, they are the same or higher than prices listed on other sites

I have used Sporting Arms transfer service numerous times - wonderful people and less than ten minutes' away from me.

I've bought 4 guns from then, and used to transfer two others. Competitive prices, and if they don't have what you want in stock, they can get it within two-three days. Nice folks too.

I checked their online price quotes on a couple of pistols that I have bought at The Bullet Trap (Plano, Tx) just to compare. The Bullet Trap is cheaper and the people there are nice also.

Every time I've checked they seem to be inline with gun shows and academy. The problem I've had is they don't have stuff in stock. they will have them out in the display but they don't have them in stock. I usually end up at academy. If they don't have them on display, they don't have them in stock.

In fairness, Sporting Arms doesn't keep a lot of guns in stock. But they offer just about every gun available, and if you know what you want, it's ordered in within 2 -3 days. And since they offer just about everthing from a Glock to a High end 1911, some prices will be good, and some maybe not as good as someplace else. I like everyone likes to get a "deal" but when I can find exactly what I want, and have it in a couple of days, a few extra bucks doesn't bother me much. Plus $20 transfers, and no evil eye when you pick up a gun that they might have been able to sell you.
