On 9/5/09, myself and Acetone had our own little shoot. We did invite more people, but no one showed up. OH well, we had a good time slinging lead ( and some B.S. ) down range.

Here are a couple of pic's I took. Acetone took a few too and will probably post them here too .

Darn! You guys were well set up! And some really nice hardware, too!

I'll be there for the next shoot - unless it's the 12th; I'll be out of town.

Thanks ! That was kinda the idea behind this thread, to show that we do go out and have a good time. We both have some neat toys and let each other test them out. That way, you get to experience other weapons that you don't own .

Gun show on the 12th, so PROBABLY won't be there that weekend either.

You, and anyone else are welcome to join us shooting anytime.

My photography isn't as good as randmplumbingllc's, but I tried.

When you want a full day of shooting, you should start early in the morning.

Awesome guys. I wish I could have gone I had some other stuff planned that day. When I logged on and saw the invitation it was on Thursday if I remember correctly. It was too late to change my other plans.

Definitely will be there on the next shoot.

Sure is nice to see other cities coming together.
We have been doing monthly meets here in DFW for almost a year now and every month someone new joins.
We have a blast and after just a few meets you have a core group that helps bring in even more shooters.
Good job guys and keep at it.
Maybe you guys will soon have a 4 man team to shoot bulls-eye against us!!!

Hey I was wondering if you guys could show me some basics on shooting I am new shooter( I'm 18) and haven't shot any guns except .22's and that was years ago. I do know basic firearm safety and do own a gun(38 super) and have access to several others.

SURE, come out with us and do some shooting. Once you have the safety part down, it all boils down to PRACTICE. Dry fire is the best and cheapest way to practice. Pick up some dummy rounds and practice sight alignment, sight picture and trigger pull.

I am no instructor, but I am sure we can show you a few things.

There are also some good web sites , with good instruction, as well.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Looks like a clean area. My new shooting spot is pretty dirty.

I went out to the Shrine to check out the Gun Show last weekend and it wasn't that great. It was Ok, but was more of a swap meet. I took the wife and daughter and we had a good time.

WHERE you shooting at ? THIS place WAS trashed before WE cleaned it up.

Yeah, not too impressed with the gun show. Prices for everything were through the roof, as far as I was concerned. It was cool, but small and not a deal to be had, IMOpinion.
