Dumb shit. Jimmy Carter 2: Less Likable, Worse Policies.

Has anyone been held up with an m1 garland or carbine lately? I'm sure msnbc can sell the 30.06 round as a proven cop killer. The 30 carbine is the work of the devil.

Here is some of the garbage I am talking about. The CMP never had any way to get these guns. They were never going to go to the CMP. Orest Michaels (ODCMP CEO) has beaten his head into the wall explaining this to folks over there, time and time again. Go check out their forum, it's a good resource for accurate information on this.

Only guns that were lent to foreign nations and returned to the US military (or never left US military) control go into the CMP . The Korean rifles were gifts and/or sold to them. The US government does not have ownership of those guns, thus they can not be used as part of the CMP. The CMP is not an importer or buyer of surplus military rifles. The Greek and Danish M1 Garands and the Bavarian M1 Carbines that recently came through the CMP were all on loan to those places, not given to them.
