With the release of the first episode of the Defending Our America series titled “Know Your Enemies and Know Yourself” the National Rifle Association (NRA) puts itself at the forefront of the shills for tyranny and empire.

(Posters note: My original post was not to just the NRA's website but to my article. Did a moderator with a strange sense of humor change it?)

Troll post.

Go away and don't come back!

NRA in no way promotes anything other than gun rights and firearms safety/training.

Did you watch their videos I linked to? They aren't about gun rights and firearms safety/training, they're about a bunch of neocon causes. Don't throw away our liberties for the false security of a powerful govt.

looks like you need a new news source. I doubt talk slamming the NRA will be tolerated here.

Securing” the massive southern border of the US is a pointless and impossible task.

Texas DPS did this. It's not impossible. Just really expensive to keep up. If they had more funding ($5 MM per month) they could have kept it up.

OP- aren't you the troll who was going on about "assault weapons" at sandy hook?

I think I made my case rather well. Notice that my criticism isn't about their advocacy of what gun rights they advocate.

Show us the posts franz.

As far as I know- the NRA is a huge pro-gun rights, anti-regulation collection of Americans that scares the shit out of piers morgan and dumb ass liberals. I'm sure there are some dumb ass neocons in there but so what?

Bottom line- if the NRA had a channel on tv it would be the complete opposite on msnbc. Ps. Jesse Jackson and Rachael Maddow are brainwashed idiot liberal puppets. The NRA are made mostly of people who are likable.

I came from NY. NRA bashing is a daily topic there. Only a small percentage of people there belong to the NRA. Not ironically gun rights suck in NY. If you think the NRA is the enemy you need to do a little research. A national gun ban would have passed after the Adam Lanza shooting had the NRA not existed.

Well here's some NRA bashing for you. The NRA supported the assault weapons ban. I was in Springfield Illinois for the IGOLD rally, when there was a carry bill in committee, and the NRA lobbyist killed the bill because it wasn't "sponsored" by the NRA.
Remember the MacDonald case? NRA refused to touch it because it was "a loser" until it was clear that it was a winner, and then the NRA came in like gangbusters hogging every bit of publicity they could get, and congratulating themselves, and all the other organizations that "helped" them win the case. There's more, but there's no need. The NRA only has one goal. Money and power. They would sell gun owners right down the river, and giggle about it as long as it brings money to waples mill road.

A friend of a friend of mine is working with NRA lawyers to fight bullshit weapons charges in Arlington (I think, somewhere in NoVA).
He had an AD inside his own home and wound up with 3 felonies. Without the NRA's help he might be out of luck.

This article is clearly sponsored by anti gunners in an election year. It's propaganda meant to divide gun owners.

Shit franz,
dude posted that the bushmaster used had a high capacity mag. Last I checked 30=standard, over 30=more than standard high capacity mags are unreliable gimmicks except for MAYBE the sure fire 60 and that's just a maybe.

POST JACKING. I say a firearm is an assault weapon if and only if used against others in an offensive manner- whether it be shooting innocents or beating them to death. Cheap small caliber handguns are more of an assault weapon than the most popular sporting rifle in the greatest nation God has ever seen. Hell the cars used by those chicken shit bastards that need to be hung in public are the most common assault weapon in Corpus Christi today.
