Texas Department of Criminal Justice - Customer Service Survey

    1. Overall, I am satisfied with services I received from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
    2. The facility where I received the services was clean, orderly and easy to get around.
    6. When requesting information about services, I was given clear explanations about the services available.

In all fairness, apparently it's a generic survey:
As part of the state’s strategic planning process, agencies are required to conduct a customer satisfaction survey every two years.

I'd love to read some of the "Optional additional comments or suggestions".

I'd be willing to bet that is where they're getting the real feedback rather than from the canned multiple choice questions.

I worked inside the TDCJ REAL prisons....the "ID" Institutional Division units. Anyone who thinks that life in the lock up is a cakewalk, is a F ing fool! The survey is typical of TDCJ, however. They have their procedures and "customer" feedback is one of them.

I would imagine big expenses too. Some thing fishy money wise must be going on if private prisons are actually turning a profit.

Yeah, that probably would be entertaining.

I think I might have been asked to fill one out after going to a unit for some volunteer training. The MUCH better half is a CVCA at the Carol Young unit, and I get drafted frequently to go there and help set up, sing in the choir, etc. Don't think I've ever filled one out though.
