    Not as in you are assigned a job from one, but actually work for one...
    I am trying to find out a general idea of what a company pays for a temp worker, if the worker gets say $10 an hour, what do you think the company is paying for that help?
    $12, $14? an hour?

    in my experience with working for a temp agency and just working for a company that hires from temp agencies the max i have seen and heard is $11 but you never know.

    I don't know much about normal temp/job placement agencies, but the ones for mariners usually charge a a day or two's pay or a percentage( I believe around 10%) if you're only there for a month. If the company they put you with keeps you, it's a total of two weeks pay. This is from when I looked into it a couple years ago, might be more by now. I would assume it's similar at a normal temp agency.

    My dad hires day labor from a temp agency. I don't know what they make, but I am pretty sure if it is minium wage. I think he ends up paying $13-$15 an hour for them. Not sure if that is what you needed.

    This is the information or at least a lot closer to what I am looking for...

    Does anyone know what minimum wage is these days??? Is it $6.55?
