They're not real common, every once and a while one will pop up for sale. Only 500 in each caliber were made.

Took it to the range again today, this time with round nose Fiocchi 95 gr's. Cycled, ejected as a gun should. Plenty accurate for the distances it's meant for. Magazine didn't keep falling out as it did with the flat nosed bullets I used last week, can't remember the brand.
Period mag worked as well as the modern one I got for it.
Since it's so very tiny, and was designed before "Weaver" or "Modern Technique", I actually shot it better one handed, both right and left handed.
If I didn't have a pile of more modern ones, I would absolutely not hesitate to use or recommend it for EDC.

Been Called "Flash" Since I Was A Kid!
I quit going to gun shows several years ago but ventured out to the Dayton community gun show yesterday. I found a beautiful Marlin Original Golden 39AS lever action .22 rifle and it followed me home! It's in terrific shape, a 1996 vintage and even the front sight hood was original!
This was a quest of many years and I just about gave up on getting one.
I've owned two Marlin 39A rifles and stupidly traded them off. This one isn't going anywhere!
Worthy of note: Dayton events welcome concealed and OC pistols in their facilities! They just ask that you show your LTC to the officer at the door as you enter.
