Has anyone fondled one, or better yet, shot one?

I've been following the development a little and now that they're out to market, but no one seems to have them in stock, I was wondering if there was any feedback or opinions from those who had touched / shot them.

I have fondled one. I wanna say it was a 40 cal, but I have been drinking. I was not impressed. Felt huge and bulky, and I have bear paws. And beer paws.

They sell a single stack 9mm. Not sure how it would be considered bulky.

    These might be helpful:

Thanks, but I don't necessarily trust youtube videos. I was just wondering if any of the locals had played with one.

These aren't just any random video channels. They have a good reputation if giving informative reviews of guns, pros and cons. They have been helpful in some gun purchases I have made...with no disappointments. Anyway, they're fun to watch too.

The Honor Guard hasn't exactly over taken the market, they came out about the same time as a lot of new big name gun makers introduced new models. This is a way to see them in action and learn about the features of the guns.

It's an American company, veteran owned so it can't be too bad. When I get back to work, it's a gun I want to add to my arsenal.

I've held one. The grip felt uncomfortably narrow for my tastes, but otherwise the pistol felt pretty good and the grip issue was minor at worst.
That's what it all boils down to, what works well to whomever. I'm not going to try, because I know I couldn't, get every type of gun out there. I surely wouldn't mind trying it out, but I'm sorry, I wouldn't buy a gun based solely on who builds it, I would want guns that work well for me.

Being American and veteran owned are not traits that guarantee a good product. While it is nice to support them both, I won't do it blindly.

Thanks for the feedback. Any comparisons to other single stack models since I would imagine most compacts would feel similar.

I've been thinking they looked top heavy. Everyone says it reminds them of a Sig, but I think of H&K. The slide looks a bit taller than it should be, but didn't want to throw my opinion out there before others commented.

I like several of the features they have, I just haven't seen one in person, and don't trust internet pictures or videos.
