As BAD as the GOP can be at times, the DIMocRATS are far worse. = People have lost faith in the DIMs & their party will be very lucky to hold onto what they have, much less win more seats.
Moreover, according to The Gallup Poll, only 32% of American adults now TRUST the media to be "basically honest & fair". - Trust, once LOST, is difficult or impossible to recover, so all the whining/howling/carping/whimpering by "the national press" won't help the DIMs much, if at all.
(The most common "one word description" by a majority of adults in MAY 2017 for "the mainstream media" was: LIARS.)
