My old Model 28 Highway Patrolman .357

When I visited Montana a couple months ago, I swung by a gun store near Bozeman.

They had a decent condition Model 27 P&R for about $750, if i recall correctly. Even had a model 28 for $100 more. He said I could buy it and he could ship it to Texas for me. When I got back to the H tine, I called him up and wanted to buy it, but he only wanted to take money order because he got burned on credit card too often.

The pics he sent make it look like it's in pretty shitty condition. It looked better in person but it had me second guessing myself on how it looked when I handled it. Shop owner swears those are reflections and lint and not scratches and imperfections.

Nice folks though. Never seen so many confederate flags in one of the most northern states in the mainland US.

RIA is auctioning a S&W Registered Magnum with a factory rear aperture sight. I've been drooling uncontrollably since I got the email.

Just got this 3” GP100 from sportsman’s guide. I planned on buying a 6” one day until I found a 6” security 6 at the gun shack in Helotes.
