ADDENDA to the post above: That afternoon in VA, I found it amusing, after the CC License instructor laughed at my "old relics", that the old Sig-Sauer performed all 100+ shots without a single stutter.
Otoh, several of the VERY expensive and "customized" semi-autos of various makers were NOT able to finish the required course of fire for the license.
(One of the class-members, who had openly laughed about my "old junk gun" & who had brought a heavily customized .40 S&W to qualify with, managed to complete 4 magazines before it started "stove-piping" & he had to borrow another student's handgun to finish the required number of shots. = I'm somewhat proud that I kept my mouth tightly shut.)
