    Hey all.

Just wanted to say hello. I've been going back and forth between LA and Plano the past month getting the old house sold and the new house somewhat settled, and I finally drove my car and last load over this past Tuesday.

I was fairly active in the Pro-2A activities in California, tho I wonder if it was a losing battled sometimes. I was so involved sometimes it cut into my shooting time. I don't suspect I'll have that problem here. :)

Looking forward to getting fully settled and getting back to hobbies like fishing and shooting.

    Thanks!

Nope, nothing wrong with Toyota at all. My brother-in-law came here with them and loves it. He's a bit of a Nancy but at least votes like a Nate :)

Welcome! When it comes to the 2A never let your guard down, no matter where you are. There are those that want to take it away even in the most 2A friendly states.

Welcome. One of Texas' best California imports was my wife from Huntington Beach.

welcome from an ex-san diegan. Chargers might get a shot this year.

Biggest mistake CA makes in the 2a fight, is fighting. Every little win is actually a major loss.
They need to just give up all hope and all rights, then when all is gone, come back swinging like 80s Mike Tyson and dominate SCOTUS.

Thanks all for the kind words of welcome.

I'm not sure how to feel about the CA 2A fight now. I spent a lot of time calling representatives, going to town halls and writing letters and spent a fair amount of money on donations and what not and in the 20+ years I considered myself a 2A activist, it was 98% losses. I watched +10 round mags get banned, various forms of idiotic "assault weapon" bans, now a F'ing ammo registry. I pray for my brethren I left behind but am happy to be here now.

BTW, my wife gets here next Saturday so there will be one more pretty girl in Texas who can handle a 1911 :)

Well, when she gets here, impress her by going to Kenny's Burgers in Frisco. Drive West on Legacy in Plano, and when you go under 121, it's on the left in the first shopping center.

When 80% of the CA voting population votes along the same Kommieformia lines, it was time for me to cut losses and move to a free state.
