how, as an individual, could you sell at a gun show?
Can you even sell in that manner?
Does each show lay out its own regulations?
    Thanks!

Yea ok, I get your suspicions, but no, it's a legit inquiry.
As I noted in my first post, I inherited two guns I'd like to sell but have no idea how or where.
I have pics if that would help ease your concerns about my query. Actually that would help me too since perhaps you might have an idea of what they are worth, if anything.
I just thought a gun show was an easier solution but I was uneducated about that and thought I'd ask.
And since I need 25 posts before I can attempt to sell here, I figured this was an avenue to that road plus an answer to my question.
Ive stated I'm ignorant about the process so if this is a taboo subject, my apologies and I now know to never address it again.

Selling at a guns show is no different than selling to your neighbor or you uncle etc. You need to take reasonable effort to insure the buyer is legal to purchase... proof of state residence, and observation of obvious issues like maybe they are wearing hand-cuffs or a stripped jail suit or just are acting weird. If you don't feel comfortable with that, some of the dealers at shows will do a background check for a fee. Now, lets see these guns you want to sell.

Yup. Keep posting until you get the required number. More than likely someone here would be willing to help you get rid of them.

Keep in mind a gun is a piece of private property like a riding lawn mower or a pocket knife. Once you buy it it's your property and you can sell it. One thing though. You can't knowingly sell it to a prohibited person. So if your walking the show with your 870 pump shotgun slung on your shoulder and a guy walks up and says "hey buddy, I will give you $350 for that" and you think that's a fair deal then take his money, give him the shotgun, shake his hand and you are good. If however he says "hey buddy, I will give you $350 for that, glad I found you cause I can't buy from a FFL because I'm a felon, have a restraining order" etc then walk away quickly!

He has to give you a reason not to sell to him. Don't make it more complicated than that.

Good info here but it sounds like a gun show wouldn't be the best option.
A pawn shop isn't ideal either because if I have something worth anything I'd only get a small portion, but, if they aren't worth much then that would be the way to go for me.
I'll gladly post pics later this evening when I get in.
    Thanks for the informative replies!

This is what worries me in that scenario. I'd like to eliminate or seriously reduce the chances of anything I sell being used in an illegal activity.
    Thank you

Then only sell thru a FFL. Usually they charge $25-50 to log into and out of their books and go thru the proper background checks. It's the best way to keep yourself safe.

Gun shows are a pain to sell at in my opinion. Anybody at a table will offer you pennies on the dollar, like a gun or worse yet pawn shop.

You could carry a sign and only deal with individuals. A pain too.

Sell them here but you have a problem with that to. Besides the 25 posts, you can't list it without a price. Well you don't have a price, that is why you are here.

Join the conversations here and get your 25 posts. Don't just post a "me too, +1, I agree" or whatever, that won't win you any friends here. Add to the conversation.

Once you get 25 posts then show them and ask values. We will give you real answers, not low values so we can score a deal.

Then list them for sale. Like anything, put a little effort in to it and it will pay off.

P.S. don't ever sell to Moonpie. No good will come of it.

Still curious as to which guns it is that you've inherited. There's a good chance they could worth keeping. Or someone is gonna want to buy them off you because they want to keep them :)

Edited to delete info. I read a post made after this one that suggests this may violate rules.
    My apologies
