Explain to me this. The young guy that worked for NASA and illustrated in detail how we can't get past the van Allen radiation belts clearly stated that these belts are 1300 miles out from our atmosphere. Yet the moon is 237,000 miles away. The radiation from these belts would melt any material we've used for space travel and kill any living being. So how did we manage to get past them when we reached the moon?

    So where's the return capsule?

You really don't know much about the "story line" do you... :-| The "return capsule" (more commonly know as the command module was still in orbit while the lunar lander was on the moon. But...what do you care? You don't believe in it...

Um...it couldn't be a "belt" if the earth were flat. There would be nothing to wrap around.

Then how do we have satellites around the solar system, sun, and even one that has left the solar system?

-If the earth is flat, why does water not fall off?

-If the earth is flat, what does the back side look like?

-If the earth is flat, where does the sun go at night?

-If the earth is flat, what lights up the moon and gives it phases?

-If the earth is flat, how do we go from summer warmth to winter cold?

-If the earth is flat, how do people go on cruises "around the world"?

-If the earth is flat, why are all the other planets round?

    - If the earth is flat, where does gravity come from?

    Please, educate me.

    - If the earth is flat, where does gravity come from?

There are two sides to gravity: In part, gravity is an observer artifact: it can be made to vanish by going into free fall. Most of the gravity that we experience here on earth when we see objects falling to the ground is of this type, which we might call "relative gravity". The remainder of gravity, "intrinsic gravity", if you will, manifests itself in tidal forces, and is associated with a specific property of geometry: The curvature of space-time.

Don't care if troll or INCREDIBLY stupid, this thread is hilarious :)

    AGREE!!
I found this "theory" while on Youtube a week ago and have been glued to videos supporting and debunking flat earth. It is one of the funniest things. Spend long enough at it and you'll find the moon hologram folks rainbow lady, chem trail guy, associated with moon hologram, and other wackoloons.

All while saying science is flat wrong but offering no rounded support for their theories except rhetoric and anecdotes.

Remember, the plural of anecdote is NOT data!!!!!
