Picked up a Crux Crusader blast shield. Works directly with their muzzle brake for the cans.

I'm confused, in the AR pic, is the can attached as well?

No. The blast shield is over the muzzle brake.

"...the Crux Suppressors Crusader Blast Shield. This blast shield mounts to any of our Brakes or Flash Hiders and give you two great benefits. 1) Works as a Blast Shield for your muzzle. 2) Works as a thread protector for your PMS system.

This device screws on directly to your PMS threading on your brake or flash hider, no additional modification is needed. It comes in two variations, with or without ports."

Thanks for the explanation, cleared everything up.
It initial sounded like you were to use it with the can, at least to me it did.

No problem. I've been eyeing the Fortis shield just never bought it. I know Crux's machining is incredible so kinda felt I wouldn't be disappointed. Now I just need to see how it works on the rifle.

Took the POF P-308 with the dead air Sandman L & the P-415 with the Steiner M5xi 5-25x56mm, the Gemtech Trek Ti and Rifles Only HAD suppressor cover out.

Also brought the Savage Mk II and Dead air mask HD and the FN with the Crux Archangel.

What all needs to be welded? Most guns have little welding but I know war time brought about some interesting labor saving concepts.

Not much actually.....just a very few short welds with our TIG will do it....these welds on both sides.....and weld in the ejector...
