Hello all. I have a new to me 7.5" Anderson AR pistol in 223 wylde that I am looking to have converted to 300 blackout. I already have a 10.5" 300blk barrel I plan to have put on. Do I need to buy a new gas block, roll pins, gas tube etc.. for the conversion? Or can they be reused? Both barrels are pistol length gas systems.
Anyone to recommend having this work done for me in the Round rock or surrounding area? It doesnt need to be done at a shop. I feel pretty confident after watching some videos that I could do the work myself, but I don't have the barrel wrench and other tools/vise or space to do it at home. If someone in the area has the tools and ability or could recommend a shop I would greatly appreciate it. I am willing to compensate for your time as well. Beer/money or a slightly used 7.5" .223 wylde barrel?
