This Ruger Lipsey's Exclusive Single Seven .327 Federal Birdshead with 3.75" barrel looks pretty interesting:

    Anybody see one yet?

I've only seen one 500...and held one round-the owner told us he pays $5 per round...do you reload?

What does that ammo with the Nagant go to?
That is Nagant revolver ammo, 7.62 if memory serves.

The case extendeds past the bullet. When fired, the cylinder moves forward and the case seals against the barrel. They are the only revolver that is truly suppressable but have a horrible trigger pull because of the moving cylinder.

I noticed something not quite right-the cylinder's nowhere nearly as long as the case of the ammo...how does that happen? Seems the forcing cone would stop rotation...or is the pic deceiving?

    Interesting history on WIKI...

The cylinder moves forward after rotation.

It is a very odd firearm.

Watched Hickock 45's video-it is different...the pic must be distorted because measuring the ammo it's a lot longer than the cylinder...would protrude from the face of the cylinder. I've seen these but never touched one...totally different from the American way of thinking.

Yeah it's a double action but the hell with using it like that. Feels like a 20 pound trigger pull but is one of the best suppressed if you go that route. I've had it forever, I love 7.62x38, clean shooter when shooting single action style. The .500 I've put about 75 rounds through it since owning it over 4 years now. I take it out every so often and clear the pistol range with it.

The cylinder doesn't pop out like most either, you slip the latch down and load one at a time. I took the picture at an angle, probably why it looks a bit weird but it fits nice and snug once the cylinder goes forward.

Love the 1875 and the revolving rifle. A member here was selling a pair of those years back for a good price. Make me regret not picking one up.
