I've had a couple friends go through the same thing. They all said it hurt like hell but was worth it.
I'm super nervous. Right now I'm even more deaf than I was. This implant took a lot of what I used to have away. It won't be activated until Sept. 8th. It will be the first time I ever hear sound in my right ear.

I dropped my oldest (first child) off at Sam Houston State in Huntsville yesterday.
