Picked up this CZ 452 Trainer on Tuesday. Like new. Came with the Leupold rimfire scope, Warne rings, boxes, and an extra 10 round poly mag. Paid $425. Well worth it considering its condition. I was saving for a new 527, but now my 455 has a friend. This will be my daughter's rifle one day.

    Wow, what a steal!!

Mine is very reliable and shoots well. My only complaint is that mine has a craptacular trigger. I guess I got lucky. I've heard that some have great triggers and others don't.

Or maybe I'm spoiled by my Rohrbaugh's which have great triggers which the RM380 is based on.
The trigger on mine is like fingernails across a chalkboard. It should smooth out with use.

Model 1897 16 ga. was marked on the slide bar until 1912 and the marking changed to Model 97 and moved to the barrel around serial number 500,000. The 16 ga. shell length was also changed at that time from 2 9/16 in. to 2 3/4 in. according to the information I have read. The serial number dates this one to 1902......This shotgun hasn't been fired in a long time!

After saving the cash rebate money from the 4 pistols I've bought since April (a 5" Rem. R1 1911, Rem. R1 Commander, Rem. RM380, and a S&W 9mm Shield), I ordered a Kahr CW9 like this one from Tombstone Tactical. It is a nice "tweener" between my CT380 & CW45. Told the wife it was "free":

Bought this today, Windham Weaponry carbon fiber. Last minute purchase at the gun show, got them to throw in the Ruger Rapid Deploy sights.

We shoulda met up there. I bought a few small things. Nothing big.
I got there with about 1 1/2 hours left of the show. I know I can get better deals as they are starting to pack up. That was the only Windham Weaponry AR15 I saw, and I talked with the guy several times before I was able to get him to come down in price.
