So I can OC my great great etc. Grandad's Colt cap and ball and wear my cavalry saber. Now I just need a Vader mask and I am ready to go. It's the Texas version of "homeless or hipster." We call it "gun rights advocate or crazy?" Yee hah!*

Now that swords will be legal to open carry after 01SEP17, I am going to have to rethink my wardrobe.

I guess I will be wearing this to the mall from now on.

A little old with a little new. Appropriate. I have a whole room full of swords to chose from. Now the hard part is gong to be 'does this samurai sword go with the Glock 17 or XD45?' HAHAHA

I think we may see more open carry of blades than guns simply because they're easier to get, no license is involved, and cosplay is getting popular.

Perhaps an infantry sabre, but sabres in general are too long for everyday carry. A cutlass is much more practical for most situations.

I always say, "Go big (after all it's Texas) or go home!"
I think the 52" Sir William Wallace Scottish Claymore should answer the open carry question just fine!

It better not be a Confederate saber... That would be racist.
