    Good on a them.

EVERYONE makes crap sometimes. Everyone. It's what you do after you realize it that determine if you a stand up company. If you don't make mistakes then your just not finding them or acknowledging you have them. This is a bad batch of heat treating. It happens. Defective thermostat or kiln burner.

What SIG won't let happen is a situation like Remlin or Marlin where almost every gun is of poor quality and many are total basket cases.

Man, I'm the world's biggest SIG fan, but I'm be the first to admit their quality isn't what it used to be, and their customer service isn't the best.

they aren't bad, per se, but they aren't as good as their pricing suggests.

Had a P938 that destroyed brass, they didn't care since it didn't affect functionality. Not a safety or reliability issue, but the fact that only a small percentage of these guns did it showed inconsistencies. Also for a $600+ subcompact you think they'd adjust the extractor when I sent it in, or whatever was doing it.

Also, my P227 TacOps had a funky trigger break and reset the first time I dry fired it. Racked the slide a million times with the trigger down and it hasn't done it since. Didn't want to deal with SIG and shipping it. If it was dangerous, I would. Not a big deal, but just another example of quality control, or lack thereof.

All my other sigs feel fine, but there is a noticeable difference in feel between my German sigs and my Exeter sigs. Maybe it's the extra weight of the folded steel slides, but they do seem a little... "tighter".

All in all have owned maybe 20 pistols, i think less than 10 currently. Will continue to buy them despite these, due to ergos, controls, and familiarity.

Sig's quality has been in the crapper for several years. This isn't new at all and has been an issue even before the atrocity that is the P250 came on the market.

My experience with Sig has been very good.

Had installed a CMC trigger pack in my 716, so I am not worried about the recall.
