What's for dinner?

Had Hawaiian chili last night. I am a bit picky about my chili. But my daughter wanted to try a new recipe last night. Kind of the normal chili with these changes:
less spices - chili powder & comino; zero cayenne
add spinach (fresh raw)
when served, you add diced pineapple and diced avocado.

I was skeptical to say the least. It was very different, but it tasted pretty good.

At least it didn't have beans.

One of the better meals I've had in a while the other night, at The Lonesome Dove Steakhouse in Fort Worth.

Pozole soup, rattlesnake/rabbit sausage, lamb lollipops and stuffed tenderloin.

I'll be back, this place is awesome.

Al Fredeaux didn't show up, so Boudreaux was forced to pinch hit.

Boneless pork ribs, simmering in a blonde roux/wine sauce, with sauteed chopped onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. Served over white rice, with a glass of red wine and a lettuce/tomato/avocado salad.

I only use Louisiana Gulf skrimps. The head fat content makes them really good to use in BBQ shrimp.
