Just read in a Facebook comment posted below that Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore has received the rifles and are beginning to ship them. I hope I'm not in the month at the latest side of the line. I will repost when my money is missing :)

One of many, many benefits I'm sure

I'm at the age where about 60% of my friends are married or at least engaged to be. I do want to eventually find a girl and pop out a few kids, but all the horror stories I hear everywhere nowadays regarding marriage is making me think twice.

I ordered from Smoky Mountain Guns&Ammo literally yesterday, and they're already preparing to ship it out tomorrow (I just called them). If you don't want to wait a month to receive it, better to just cancel your pre-order with sportsman outdoors and order from Smoky mountain instead. They're exactly the same cost as sportsman at 559.99 and ships free. Here's the link to the gun on their website: https://www.smga.com/p-128018.aspx?searchEngineName=rug-8514-ar556-mpr-223-18-coll-30r-blk-syn

Maybe it's because I got married in my late 30's, but I wound up doing better in all aspects married then single. And adding a kid to that gave me structure and actual responsibility that really set me straight.
I will say, it's not for everyone and that I couldn't imagine getting married in my 20's or even early 30's. Those relationships would have certainly ended in disaster as I was a complete and utter mad man. Sometimes I wake up from dreams relating to or directly about those days and literally thank God out loud that it was only a dream.

As far as guns, somehow I've manage to buy more guns and ammo married then Single Southpaw could ever imagined. :)

I really like being single, huge difference between being lonely versus being alone.

I got married in my late 30's.
    One thing's for sure:
It's better to be single than to be in a bad relationship.

I got a good one...relationships are hard work, but worth it if you get a keeper.

I'm in no hurry. I have a few others to keep me busy.

My Colt rifle came in today. I installed Magpul CTR stock, CAA pistol grip, Magpul backup sights, and a Sparc AR on it right away. Once the range opens again (was closed because of Harvey), I'll go sight everything in.

Nice! That was some fast shipping! I've never had an ordered gun show up in the same week.

The retailer I bought it from is located in Kansas, so FedEx was able to deliver in 48 hours. Other than a few blemishes on the outside of the mag well, the gun is in pristine condition. Seems Colt likes to lube up their guns heavily at the factory.

Looks like it won't be long. Got this email today.

    Great news!

An item you pre-ordered from us has finally arrived, and your order is currently scheduled to ship out within 1-2 business days. You should be getting a tracking number from FedEx once it ships.
