    I have a Sig P320 FDE.
Things I like about my P320:
    1. It feels really good in my hand.
    2. It is well balanced when fully loaded.
    3. I like the trigger pull. It is much better than most other polymer firearms.
    4. I can shoot it very accurately. Big plus for a defense weapon.
Things I do not like about my P320:
    1. It ejects 9 out of 10 spent brass cases directly to the rear. The cases either land on the bill of my ball cap or on the top of my shooting glasses. This happens with various brands of factory 155 gr ammo.

Overall I give it a 9.5 out of 10, and I am not a big Sig fan overall.

Ummm I hope you mean 115 gr and not 155 that could be bad.

No idea why everyone buys a gun then automatically changes everything to after market. Why not just build your own pistol? It's not like it can't be done.

Depends on how new a person is to a certain platform. Most all started out changing something they already had, make that their own before they get into making something their own from scratch.

I am actually not wanting to change a bunch of stuff on a new defense handgun. So, that has been my journey. The P320 has actually been the only current handgun I own that I have not wanted to change anything, not even sights. My PPQ M1 comes close, but I am going to change sights one day. My M&P M2.0s are very close as well. I have not changed anything, but I would not mind different sights.

I will say that if I would have ended up keeping the FN509, I would not have changed anything.

As to a previous statement I made, it was a typo. I meant for it to say 115 grain ammo.

As far as buying a firearm and then changing it to what you want it to be, I say why not.
You buy a house, you may probably the paint color. You buy a car, you probably change the wheels.
I have ridden Harleys since 1972, none of them have ever remained factory.

I collect 1911A1 pistols. The ones I feel may have some collector value remain stock. The ones I buy to shoot, I do what is necessary to make then match my expectations of what I want in a firearm.

Once I get the ejection issue worked out on my P320, I think it will be a very nice firearm to shoot.

i am also looking at getting either a compact in the fn 509 or Sig p320. I do like the modularity concept of the p320 but will i ever take advantage of that hmmm probably never but who knows. will it fit a carbine type set up then that could be interesting....

OP- For a larger size carry gun why not Sig P365XL? I've carried a P365, it's smooth in all the right places. The XL should be just the ticket. ;)
