The expander ball doesn't flair the neck. Just makes it straight after the resize die makes it too tight. Chamfer helps with flat base bullets. Knife edge can be a bad thing if you go to far, but I have loaded lots of rounds with knife edge, never had a problem.
Well I happened into a box of Berry's fmj-bt 224 bullets today. Anyone ever used those before? I didn't know Betty's made 224 bullets. It says they're fmj as well so they should be good for full velocity. What do you guys think about them?

Gonna load up a couple hundred of these to play with this weekend. Taking Twerpy (my daughter) to the Farm. Gonna work on the Bronco, and do some shooting.

Decided after only having 5 loaded in 15 minutes, it was time to go to the trusty Redding 3BR manual thrower.
Now I remember why I don't use the Hornady on pistol loads except for development.
Ugh. Painfully slow.
Happily cranking them out now.
I'll load up another bin and call it a night.
That ought to be enough keep the Pet Kid and me occupied for an afternoon.
