I unloaded my car today after returning from Hicksville, and did not find my Rock Island Armory 1911, in .22TCM. I may have set it down when they were drawing the tickets near the office. It was in a single pistol case made of brown leather.

If anyone picked it up for me, or turned it in, please let me know. Your help would be appreciated.

I do not suspect any thievery or foul play. It appears to be my loss.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I called the range and they have it locked up in their safe for me.

Looks like I get another trip to to Hicksville next weekend.

I don't misplace many things, but when I do it is usually something important....

Glad you got it squared away!

Brings up an interesting point...How many of us have some sort of ID in our range bag(s) or individual gun cases? If someone were to make off with a bag or case of yours, how easy would it be to identify it? Is there a reason you would NOT want your ID in your range bag or individual gun case?
    Hmmm....?

Fantastic! I misplaced a .45 mag at a range a couple of months ago and am still kicking myself over it. Glad you're going to get yours back.

Whew man you got lucky! I would be freaking out if I misplaced a pistol.

How do you like the 22tcm? I've been wanting to buy one of those. Is it the model with the replaceable 9mm barrel?

    Wholly necrothread... :)

The .22 TCM is a fantastic shooting pistol. There is negligible recoil, 2100 fps out of a 5" barrel, and a huge fireball with every shot. Mine came with a 9mm barrel and recoil spring as well as the .22.
Many like it because it looks and operates like a 1911.
When it was introduced at SHOT, it was not on the pistol range, instead it was with the rifles at the 100yd range!
The last time I shot it at a pistol range, after I took my first shot pretty much everyone stopped and looked at me. Most thought it must be a big bore like a Desert Eagle due to the sound. I told them "no, it's a .22".
