How accurate is the Canik TP9Sf? This is 36 shots 18 at the x and 18 at the head from 7 yards standing outdoors. Ladies and gentlemen you won't find a more accurate handgun or a better trigger. I've fired hundreds of handguns and this is by far the best one. Everyone knows I am not a crack shot.

    That's a bold statement.

You can, but you're going to spend 4 figures and have a competition gun. This is an off the shelf stock gun. Fire it and tell me you've felt a better stock trigger under 4 figures =)

EDIT -- I've got a good friend that owns a CZ Shadow II and we fire it pretty regularly and I'm telling you I'd rather shoot this and this gun is more accurate in the hands of most any shooter. That is amazing considering the Shadow was probably the best gun I ever shot.

I believe a ripoff would imply a lesser quality, worse functioning, but visually similar product.

The Canik is not a ripoff. It is a copy. One that, for quite a bit less money, does what a PPQ does. Some will scream sacrilege, but that is just bias talking. My SF seems to be an equally accurate gun, and 100% functional so far. Everyone I hand it to loves it, with wide eyes and grins after a mag. For the money, they are an affordable PPQ copy.

I have a few friends that have Canik. They like them and shoot them well. All that really matters.

PRONSTAR let me shoot his at the reunion.. I immediately bought it when I got home. I cannot imagine a better full size 9mm for under 500 dollars. The takedown is ridiculously easy as well.

I bought my dad a Canik TP9SA a couple years ago and it's a fine pistol, especially for the money. My only gripe is that the shape of the frame digs into the bone of my thumb when it recoils, making it not the most comfortable to shoot. If it wasn't for this I would pick up a SF for myself in a heartbeat.

I’m seriously considering buying a Canik. The one that really intrigues me is the TP9SFL. I’d like to see and handle one in person first, but can’t seem to find a LGS in the Dallas area that has one in their store. I’ve found a few that claim to have them “available” on their website. After calling them, though, it appears they mean they have them warehoused elsewhere for online sales. Anyone know of a shop that regularly has them in stock at their store?
