    I was looking for a live Texas based gun site.

    My life story
    I am from Katy. Grew up there, joined the army. Did 6 years finished my enlistment came home.
    My two young children put an end to my 1st love, 10 years of sport bikes and trackdays.
    Just bought a house yesterday, and the wife has agreed to a gun section of the house!!!!! Time to learn reloading!
    Looking to grow back into rifles and shooting. Currently have an 308 AR and a MP 2.0 in 9 mm.
    Ordered a suppressor ready CZ p10c a couple months ago....gonna be waiting on that a while.
    About to order my 1st suppressor and do paperwork for sbr’ing a lower, before Black Friday. Probably going after a rugged obsidian 9mm and maybe a Thunder Chicken. Time will tell.

    I am looking for tips in advice on multiple fronts here, glad to be here.

    I still miss them on nice days. There was a Duc Panigale that passed my car a while ago. Was sorely tempted to drive to the bike shop and make a purchase.
    That being said, I don’t miss the aches, pains, and cost of it all.

    Welcome as well. Your post reads like we can learn a thing or two from you too. Used to be a cruiser fan Shadows and Vulcans. Miss them everyday the sun shines. Houston traffic and age led me back to the cages. But every time I see one of those 3 wheel Can-am Spyders on the road I think, hey that's a good idea.

    No kidding about this Syders, I suspect that maybe the route to take later.
    I am super glad Katy maintains a strong presence here. Once I’m settled, and not trying to work myself to death. I will head over for a meet and great out there.

    Welcome from Colorado County. We lived in Katy until it got too big. Then we bought a little ranch out here where we can shoot whenever. There is a lot of good info on this site.
