They have wire with flux on it if you don't use gas.

The proper term for MIG is GMAW or Gas Metal Arc Welding that uses gas. FCAW or Flux Cored Arc Welding is also a wire feed process, but there are some wires that use gas also or without, which was never called MIG (Metal Inert Gas).

While I like a welding discussion more than most, this isn't the welding thread... (hmm, should start one)

His photography skillz are possibly worse than his welding skillz..
it looks like a turbo either bolted or welded to the frame? of a car.. maybe it's welded to the exhaust pipe..

but the compressor side (that is supposed to push air into the engine) isn't connected at all... based on the picture, it would do exactly Jack and shit... and Jack left town.

Wanna bet his next welding project will be to attach a giant whistle to the compressor side.

What's amazing is that for many years people tried to correct the term y'all, and then they finally gave up and made it a word.
And "ain't" was proper English for a very long time until we decided it wasn't. It seems to be making a comeback, though.

God, I'm old and I can't keep up any more.
