Just picked up a P10 today, only one at the Corpus Saxet that I saw, it was Sunday so may have been more yesterday.

Initial thoughts. I love it so far, but just got it home. Not ready to carry it though. The slide moves smoothly. The trigger is awesome, better then my Glock and any other pistol I have. Compared it to my friends Glock 23 also, liked the CZ better, so did he. I love the way it shoots. Only put my first mag through it, just got home and let a few fly.

Ok, negatives. Holly smokes the mag release is killing me. It is really hard to load 15 into the mags, I had to use a loader. It seams like the tension from the mags loaded in the gun push back on the release and make it really hard to release the mag, not just stiff but almost undoable. With 14 in the mag it’s not as bad but still really hard. If I push up on the mag it’s better. I just sat here and cycled the mag and release for a lot of cycles and it seams to be getting better, but still way too hard. I hope it smoothes up. My thumb is numb right now. If anyone has any tips to help it out let me know please.

    Well, finally went for one.

GT told me the first time they get one here and there but usually gone shortly after and they offered to add me to a list. I declined. FF to yesterday, I stroll in as an afterthought before going to a movie. I handle it again and it feels a little more appealing.

Which is when the guy behind the counter tells me that they have one. Someone ordered one and decided against it. So I bought it.

I shot my stock M&P 2.0 and an p10c shot in alternating 5 shoot groups. Having never fired a cz in my life. It was markedly better in terms of accuracy, trigger, and I prefer it’s grip texture compared to the 2.0.

Ordered the suppressor ready version a couple of months ago, hoping for an early Christmas present.

That's funny, I shot both my CZ P10c and my new M&P9 compact 2.0 today also

CZUSA told me threaded barrels and supressor ready should start shipping in November, so hopefully they start popping up soon.

The more i handle/shoot my P-10 the more i like it. CZ has 17 rounder mags too which are easier to load. I figured out the mag release issue, it’s gotten easier and with the slide locked bag they drop out, like they should.

I randomly saw this yesterday. It has known issues with the p10c, and fixes..for the most part. I found it interesting. It’s 14 mins and some change time wise.

I need to let a friend read all of this. He recently picked up a P-10 to add to his CZ collection. We are both fans of the Marque with more than a few and all have full on CGW packages installed and tuned. I am not a striker fired fan but he is. I have ran his P-10 and do like it a lot more than any Glock I have shot. He added a trigger upgrade recently and I have as yet to run it with that Modification.

    Great info here.

If I see an FDE for under $450 I might pick it up. Unless I fall in love with my M&P 2.0 FDE 5 inch over the next range trip.

That hinged trigger is their only fault. If they'd go to a blade type safety, i'd love it.

Read the previous few pages. I have m&p 2.0 at home right now. The M&P looks great and is a GOOD gun, but the p10c is better. But the cz’s barrel and trigger are far superior, at least in my hands.

You would have have to drop an apex trigger and barrel to make the 2 about equal. That is hundreds of extra bucks just to bring the the M&P on par with the p10c.

Both handle recoil great and feel good in my hands. But when the shooting the advantages of the CZ will be apparent.

    3 parts.

    1. From my own experience on my M&P 1.0. I sighted in a Viridian green laser that was dead balls accurate @ 7 yards for single shots. Also trained with iron sights. I could only get my groups to be so small. For a defensive shooting purpose the groups were fine, but I always try to improve.

    2. I fired my new stock M&P 2.0 with a rented stock p10c. I shot in alternating 5 shot groups, for over 100 rounds. Having NEVER touched a cz before that day, my groups sizes were HALF the size of my new 2.0. @ 7 yards.

    3. I was looking to get a threaded barrel, to improve accuracy host a suppressor. I found this Apex video. It totally made sense.
The first 3:45 explains it. The video is 10 mins and worth watching. The short story is that the dwell time on the M&P is too short causing accuracy issues.

I put the HBI trigger on mine. It pinches my finger though so I'm going back to the original one.

I have ran a friends with both the stock and after market trigger in it. I felt the stock trigger was the more irritating.
    Interesting.
