There have been some prototypes shown online from time to time. One of those prototypes was for sale on GunBroker for somewhere around $1000. Nothing was made for the general public... until now.
Something I thought folks could be interested in and might be worth a look.
I just got my brace adapter and installed a tailhook on my Omega MP5 clone. Michael Bonamico from techsmithmfg.com did a fantastic job putting this project together. Good quality, nice fit and function, and Michael is an all around great guy to work with. I ordered a four position stock (it has to be a four position) from HKparts.net and had them ship it directly to Michael. He then modifies the stock and installs the adapter. I installed the tailhook itself when I got it. Very pleased!
Cost: $65.95 for printed adapter. $39.99 to have the stock modified and adapter installed on stock. Plus you provide original four position stock. You install the actual Tailhook yourself.
Just FYI, I am the nerd who requested the Mythosaur skull printed on the top. He did that as a perk for me being his first/test subject but he has said that he would consider other custom work.
I did not make it, nor am I selling them. These are just brand new and thought I would help get the word out. You can find them for sale at the link below.
