even escaped through the deck gate at our old place.:)
I hear you. One of my dogs used to climb the fence and I could not keep her in the yard. After many trips to animal control and a summons to municipal court - she was still worth it. Frustrating as all heck though.

'Top of the hill, Kerr County!
Afternoon all. 'Tryin' to find info on AR buffers. Basically what is the average weight of a buffer in an AR pistol? Tried searching the net and here also ............... and that would be OK if I had several hours to pin it down. Friend Michael tells me they are normally lighter than the rifles as the buffer tube is shorter. Any info will be greatly appreciated. I'm going to remove the buffer and spring and weigh my buffer.

I used the buffer that came with the carbine. Stag Model 3+. 7.5" barrel, Hogue forearm, a2 flash. ACE buffer tube, pro comp dot.

Charlie, I've never had a problem with cycling. I just pulled the buffer. It's not mark. No 'H'.

    It runs like a clock.

Mine has an 8.5" barrel and it cycles "mostly" but won't pick up the next round in the magazine and I've got it wide open. I'm shooting a 212 grain Hornady with just barely under max. load with 9.4 grains of 2400 (1200 fps +/-). 'Was advised by a friend who has had experiences with pistol ARs that a lighter buffer would probably do the trick. I could go with a different load but I'm wanting to use these big, long bullets. Did I mention it's 300BLK?
