Gun Connection in Taylor

If you live in the Central Texas area, you owe it to yourself to visit the Gun Connection in Taylor. The friendliest and most helpful staff of any LGS I've ever been in. The guys and gals there go above and beyond to help their customers.

It's worth the trip as it's not that far from Austin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, or Georgetown.

I'll have to make a stop in there next time I'm out in the Austin area. How are they on there prices there?

The prices are reasonable. I bought a Safariland GLS holster today, the price was 3 dollars over Amazon, but I got amazing customer service to ensure that I bought the correct holster. I had the pistol on me, and she opened the package to adjust the tension screw to my gun.

That sounds fair enough to me. I prefer buying in a store, something about knowing I got what I wanted and not having to wait on shipping. I will be sure to check it out next time I'm down that way.

I’ve bought a few things from them. Very helpful staff. Actually sold me a lower cost receiver set since the owner knew the one I was looking at didn’t work with the hand guard I was planning to use. That said a lot to me.

I have been there 4 times and always had great service regardless of who was working. They are always friendly and helpful and have a good selection.

I always have great service when I stop by. I'm always trying to find the best deal online, but I try to buy at least some of the components from them on a new build as their prices are plenty fair.

Stopped at the local WM. They had Federal 9mm brass case 115gr for $16.97/100. That's less than I can buy online. They are now out.

Mods feel free to move it, I couldn't find the good deal thread...

I actually had a bad experience there on the only time I went in. I will not go back in there ever again.

Owner was rude and not willing to help or talk to me. Coworker of his was ok but lacked experience in firearms IMO.

I found Blackland Gun Works down the road on the north side of 79 more willing to help me out. I actually brought my Colt SP1 from them.

I won't step foot in Blackland guns. Rude, no service and no products. I drive past it to go to Gun Connection.
